Vacube™ Chambers

Vacube chamber enables beam routing both under vacuum and overpressure - maximally compact & maximum access. The idea is to allow optical adjustment with free access to the mounts without the usual restrictions of a vacuum chamber. How?

By separating the steps of optical alignment and vacuum engineering. Once the adjustment is completed, the vacuum chamber can be “slipped over”. Different vacuum chambers can be freely connected with our length-adjustable vacuum telescopes. Even with the completely connected vacuum setup in place, the beam path can still be fine-tuned thanks to a top-access to the optics. Once perfectly aligned, the unit is closed with its transparent lid and pumped down. The clear aperture of the vacuum tubing is 75mm which almost the same as the foot-print of the vacuum chamber. This aspect ratio provides maximum freedom on minimum space.
